brees, what this is about is always confusing. Sometimes it's about Clinton's alleged perjury. Sometimes, it's about sex. There was a lot more in the Starr report than what was needed to make a case for perjury. The little bit of the Judiciary hearings I heard had some guy ranting about oral sex and sex, and how they were the same, and the evil of claiming they weren't. Sometimes, it's about Clinton the antichrist, how he's like Al Capone, Starr had to get him anyway he could but he's guilty of everything ever raised against him. Regardless of evidence, or lack thereof. Sometimes, it's about rolling back the '60s. Sometimes, it's about "truth and justice". Mostly, it seems to be about a bunch of conservative Republicans who really hate Clinton.

And, of course, some like to compare Clinton's personal transgressions and how they were investigated to past Presidential transgressions and investigations.

Or, it's just politics. Or, it's this really awful soap opera / morality play that nobody gets out of alive.

I don't get the hatred. The only side I wish to be on is the side of fairness and proportionality and I see the whole nature of this situation as intrinsically unfair and out of proportion.
