This again shows the danger of small investors flocking to those Net stocks. They do not have a good idea of what they are getting into. Chasing hot stock is a bad way to invest. The sad thing is most small investors always get in when the party is about over.

I think the Street and most investors will not tolerate declining margin for a stock traded at Price/Sale of 160! For a company valued at 28 BILLION, it is absurd to have a revenue of only about 50 millions.

Hi James,

Please also read this, sec.yahoo.com
The Guru and others also recommended this before. I have read this several times, and it has given me a lot of insight into YHOO. Pay special attention to the following two paragraph:

(1) INVESTMENT INCOME, NET. It stated "The company received a proceeds of $250,000,000 from SOFTBANK in the third quarter of 1998." This paragraph is at the middle of the report.

(2) SHARES ELLIGIBLE FOR FUTURE SALE. This paragraph is at the end of the 10Q report.
