I just want to say that I'm generally disgusted with the performance of Ligand this year. I'll continue holding for a while longer as I bought my LGNDW with the understanding that Ligand wouldn't really start making revenues until 1999.

It's just that I sure would like to get rid of it before Y2K hits (no, there is no correlation between LGNDW, Ligand, and Y2K, it's just that I'm one of those that thinks that Y2K is going to be pretty nasty for the economy and the stock market, so I'd like to be rid of LGNDW before Dec 31, 1999!).

I wouldn't spend a nickel for Panretin and Ontak as I think there is no major revenue coming from these two drugs. My hopes are with Targretin. I think we are currently seeing some final year end selling in the stock as it is still well "underwater" for the year. I would like to think that we should see a bounce before/or shortly in the new year. The January effect usually lasts for about three weeks into the new year.
We Shall See!
