Computer sales not great..... Micron also said unit sales of its personal computer systems rose 2 percent over the year-earlier period, but the average system price fell 23 percent as the company slashed prices of its notebook and other models.

steve, this vaunted demand produiced a loss of 19 cents. sure, it is better than some expected - though i know people who were called up and told the whisper was 25 cents in profits - but, h*ll, what was mu's stock price at the beginning of the q? we know why the koreans haven't been selling lots of dram b/c it would be at a loss. now that we are close to breakeven they will crank out da goods. remember the extra dilution that lowers lps and eps.
