Timbo, I got an email from my Dad today and he apparently put a LOT of pressure on DLJ today to produce his certs. and it appears that this time he will be getting them, since they did pull them out of his account. I would just love to have been a fly on the wall at American Stock Transfer when Murphy's call for over 2 million shares came in! (GGG) Here they have been delaying 20-50K calls (perhaps because shares are hard to find...I hope) and here comes a call for 2 MILLION! I have to believe that this action will result in some interesting phone calls over the next few weeks. (GG) Happy Holidays to the whole DCI gang! I have received quite a few e-mails from people who are having the same problem. Most of the complaints are about the discount brokers. It seems that if you are not doing something that will generate a big commission they simply drop the ball. Speaking of E-trade, I had a friend who tried to make a trade with a live broker last week and he was on hold for one hour and 45 minutes before he got through. The one thing you can do is call back every week after you request your certificate. It comes back to the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Best Regards
