I think you were asking if RDIM wasn't a better investment at these levels than MLRE on the MLRE thread. It depends if you want to focus on a concept with a catchy name or a truly solid business plan. Don't get me wrong I would love to buy all that expensive stuff that millionaire's do but I want to get it at a decent price. That's where a consumer buying club comes in so you can pay for whatever you want at a deeply discounted or wholesale price. What we are looking at is not just your average consumer club either. Let me explain. I shop at Costco but their products are very rarely new or mainstream. Lets take for example the last time I went shopping for a laptop computer. I checked at Costco but the selection there was close out items and the selection was very limited. I wanted an active matrix screen and more DRAM and they simply didn't have it. To make a long story short I did find what I wanted in another store but I actually bought it online on after seeing what I wanted.

The consumer buying clubs that RDI marketing are buying have actual physical locations where members can shop. These clubs have 2.5 million members and they are already profitable. The concept here is to take these profitable businesses and increase there profits through the use of common accounting software, intranets, extranets and a finally full fledged world class e commerce site designed by some of the best programmers around. I have not problem shopping online if I know what I am getting. I like to kick the tires so to speak so the fact that RDIM is acquiring 100 physical locations to start with really fires my jets. The fact that they are going to be offering wholesale pricing on everything from airline tickets to lawn mowers makes me happy too. This is not niche marketing. It is a well designed business plan that has terrific potential.
