I am not a Vikings fan. I am rooting for that terrible Steelers (this dog ain't hunting this year). But Packers are OK with me. As long as an NFL team or an AFL team originally from NFL: Steelers, Ravens and Colts. You already now the correlation although it has nothing to do with each other, just coincidence. Statisticians call it correlation, but there is no causal relationship (unless we stretch it out to a self-fulfilling prophecy). When an NFL (or AFL but originally NFL) team wins the Super Bowl, the market generally be up for the year. It happens about 75 % of the time. 1998 is on the the exception list.
