No offense was taken. CD services are as good as anybodys,again, all things being equal. Example: Title companies all charge pretty much the same rates. If Chicago Title charged significantly less, I'm sure all agents would use them. Now their name will be brought up at every Monday a.m. meeting extolling their virtues, but they aren't really any different than any other co. My relationship with Mr.X at Fidelity,however, may make a difference. So, why use Chicago? They're good but not any better. My feeling is stop pitching these services to the agents. We know what's out there and will recommend the appropriate services without breaking the RESPA rules.
