I had very good luck with AOL for three years. I went through the "can't get on" business when they went to a flat charge, but otherwise, it was excellent. I switched to Cox cable when they put in "at home" 3 months ago. Once they changed out my tv cable, it was fine. I now know how slow some of the servers can get, including SI. If you need to get ahold of "at home" on the phone, it takes a 20 minute wait. But the "always on" and the download speed is great!

<<....They billed him for 2 years amounting to over $700. He has since fired his accountant. They offered him $40 back......>>

I was a similar situation. I called then up, requested they go through my "Login" record. They did and came back to me saying that I had not logged into their service for the past six months (that is the maximum length they maintain) and they gave me a full refund of 4 months. It took me 4 months to catch up with my credit card statement. So they refunded me for the 4 months. Now I am not sure about 2 years. Certainly this personal accountants fell asleep if this billing went on for 2 years and the accountant did not catch it. AOL does things right. After all they deal with home consumers primarily who are more demanding than businesses.

Happy holidays
