John Kaiser, making his recommendations for 1999 in the Dec. 11, 1998
Bottom-Fishing Report, says Jordex Resources is a top-priority buy at 50
cents. Mr. Kaiser recommended Jordex in December 1997 at 85 cents. In the
current report, the cheap-stock luminary says Jordex is widely held and
cash rich, with $19.7-million in its treasury. Mr. Kaiser considers Jordex
a shell with some Bolivian activity whose management may keep in the
resources sector or steer into oil and gas or technology. Jordex's San
Javier project in Bolivia is under 75 per cent option to Goldfields. Mr.
Kaiser says San Javier hosts very high gold-grade lenses that will require
extensive drilling before significant tonnage can be developed. "If the
current Goldfields drill program is successful, Goldfields is likely to
become very aggressive," he writes.
