I have seen studies that focus not so much on the number of pages viewed as the time spent on that site. (yes Ad rates don't account for that yet - but eventually will have to do so.)
AOL/ICQ users spend a lot of time there.Yahoo users spend much less time there. They jump in and take off. It is more of a launchpad for users than AOL. AOL is a community and an environment. Yahoo is used like a directory.

WH,
If I have to make a bet between YHOO and AOL, I'd always bet on YHOO.
Yahoo's model is superior to AOL's, although I am not quite sure how Netscape would fit into this picture.

I bought some LCOS today. What do you think about this?

Tomorrow will be the day for small Internet plays, just like Friday after Thanksgiving.
I picked up some players today: MZON, TMCS, EWBX, TGLO, PCCC, ABOV, GEEK. I learned UBID and EBAY lessons very well.
This is wild but I think we live in a new age - someone says the internet is the major deflationary force coming. The Ingham news you pointed out earlier could serve as one of examples.

<<<AOL has 16 million accounts, somewhere around 25 million users, and the last (native AOL) page-view count I read was around 650 million per day.>>>

Bill,

Are the figures inclusive of the NetCentre page count ?
