I'm not real good in picking price targets - so I don't usually bother.

All I can see is that Intel is still headed up - the product portfolio is strong and GETTING stronger, the new 0.18 micron process is waiting in the wings and new devices with HUGE on chip L2 cache are moving forward towards a mid-to-late 1999 introduction.

Year 2000 issues present an unprecedented opportunity for expansion - as present market conditions seem to indicate that Y2K issues will NOT paralyze computer purchasing decisions. That leaves a lot of UPSIDE.

In addition, IF KNI - Katmai New Instructions - offer significant technological advances in business and graphics performance, Intel will immediately catapult itself into "the only game in town", because NO competitors - AMD, Cyrix/NSM, IDT, Rise, etc - will have this technology for well over a year or more.

These are "IFs" - no doubt - but the upside is incredible.
