Borzou, first of all I would judge anything coming from that rag website as seriously suspect. Secondly the alignment between Carville the White House and Larry Flynt is easily believable. Not quite the same as equating Bob Barr's sexual escapades with every Republican.

You could probably use that analogy toward Ken Starr's investigation. I believe most Republicans supported Ken Starr and the way in which he conducted his investigation. He was a professional. Unfortunately the press has demagoged a normal investigative process involving sexual harassment into something it never was. Namely, spying in his bedroom or some such nonsense. The only problem liberals had with his investigation is it found the President guilty of perjury and obstruction of justice. So they are extremely defensive and their only hope is to paint him on the same canvass as Larry Flynt.

It's really quite pathetically obvious and transparant to me. Unfortunately with the liberal media trying everything they can to save their man Bill, the 6.7 second sound bites are working. My prediction though is history won't be so kind to the Democrats and Bill's team of spinmiesters.

I'm pretty sure they couldn't give a hoot anyway. When your character is hollow, you only think of today's pleasures and power.

Happy Holidays to you too Borzou,

p.s. I've had one too many horsenecks so I better hit the rack. :-)

Best, Michael
