Technology Stocks : Novell (NOVL) dirt cheap, good buy? -- Ignore unavailable to you. Want to Upgrade?

Not quite

"And yet he knows Novell has better technology but he can't reconcile the personal fires inside the two companies. He'd rather have the devils with red pitchforks take over Novell."

Actually I'd like to see Novell succeed on the simple basis of preserving competition and in the interest of national security. You don't want a marketing company to handle your computerized national security networks if you know what I mean. I don't believe in the dumbing down of America which MSFT is essentially all about.

But unlike some people here, I put my money where my mouth is. I made the mistake of thinking NOVL was a value stock and lost money doing that. I thought that MSFT couldn't keep its P/E in the 50-60 range and I lost money believing that. I was wrong. Joe straightened me out.

That still leaves me more honest then the clowns who own no stock, risk nothing, and insist on influencing the investors that come here with dribble about what a good investment NOVL is. These people are fundamentally dishonest (never tell the truth about their holdings) and they know it every time they look in the mirror. When you risk your money and have some experience with the stock (as I certainly do) then you can climb up on the high horse. The rah rah crowd that posts here is a laugh.

Merry Christmas to you Mr. Smart, no criticism implied or intended.
