In the broad scope of things these great surfers riding these waves are the Amazons and Yahoos. They are getting ALL the attention right now because they are THE ONLY ones out there with the boards, the bodies, the tans and the experience to ride these waves. But if you didn't get it then - looking back - investors the world over will get it later - the AOL/Netscape - Sun merger/deal was NOT about these surfers or the waves. It was about the heart of the matter: the plumbing, infrastructure, energy and THE SYSTEM that powers these waves that drive and support the public internet. To survive and fully leverage this energy and power at the corporate enterprise level AOL and other companies need to own/control a piece of THE SYSTEM going forward. Contrary to the investment world's fixation today on internet stocks, these short-term waves and surfers are going to crash, lose their boards, get sunburned, etc. But the power of THE SYSTEM will still be there. Tapping into this power is where Novell excels more than any other company in the world right now. That's why Lucent, Nortel, Bay, Cisco and others will ALL have to come to Novell's doorstep as the world needs a piece of this high-powered, high bandwidth, directory-intelligent, server-centrice,. java/jini-fired networking monster called Novell wakes up and surprises the world. It's the Internet Stupid. The Internet has checkmated Microsoft. The power is IN the network. Novell taps the pure power the Internet better than any other company right now. Novell: THE PUREST INTERNET PLAY ON THE PLANET.... Buy now while the price is still cheap, for the world won't get it until this thing is much, much higher from here.
