This may not be the best invention since sliced bread but it's close...maybe the best since the enhanced index funds were created. The ability to get in and out at any time during the day affords us momentum investors real protection against sudden crazed selloffs in previously-hot sectors. Can't wait. When do these start trading, anyway? warren murphy

An additional advantage of these new SPDRs is that one can sell short
on downticks, which is a great advantage when you want to do some
hedging in a hurry?

Are you sure that Amex would not be offering options on these
products? I have heard the contrary.
