--OT-- Since it's Christmas and we're talking games has anyone purchased Baldur's Gate yet? It's supposed to ship this week. It looks to be one step beyond Ultima Online with AD&D rules implemented throughout. It promises to be the hottest RPG of the year. No 3Dfx required sadly but check out the URL: interplay.com While I was at Fry's I checked out the Heretic II box. Screen shots look pretty nice but it's obviously a Quake II engine (which ain't _all_ bad). Anyone have it and can comment on it's worth as a freestanding game? RE: ATHM. Get it while it's hot!! We're going to 100 by end of next week. I have a cable modem through TWX (Roadrunner) and I'll state for the record that once cable is widely available we'll have another internet revolution spurred by broadband access.
