Today Boeing announced that they would be selling 767s over the Internet, remarking in a press release that they saw "great potential" in reaching such a rapidly growing market.

The company also announced that it will be changing its name to JETS-R-US.COM and downsizing all its traditional sales outlets to concentrate on electronic marketing.

Boeing stock jumped 225% on the news, and shares of Yahoo! gained 77% based on a planned "cooperative venture" with Boeing to make Yahoo! its exclusive on-line promoter.

P.S. Satire to be sure...but how far off?
