Anthony -

Take a break and enjoy the holidays. You earned it! This thread has been great. You've had lots of great picks. One thing I would like to see more of is your thoughts on what makes a good short, how do you find them, how do you research them, how do you time them, etc.

Keep up the good work.

DP

AHWY - A Paulson IPO, that is being hyped on SI...may be some opportunity there on the short side...

DLIA is a retailer of clothing primarily to pre-teen girls. The CEO is a rich kid (son of a very prominent Investment Banker). His Dad and Aunt are on the board of the company. Real mgmt is a layer underneath, some ex Hanover Direct and Urban Outfitters people. Its a high-fashion business, that is very high risk. All of these teen fashion stocks have the same boom-bust cycles. I am seriously considering a short here because people buying this stock for "ecommerce" are clueless as to the real risks of the fashion retailing world. After all that, however, the DLIA guys are not crooks, just not very good businessmen.

Happy Holidays!

A@P,

Take a breather. you've more than earned it. You have an excellent thread which I have read every post since the beginning.

As for my daytrading, I only do that when I have the day off, like today. Otherwise I have a day job I have to attend to.

Anthony - Short Zitl immediately! I can write you a book on this company if you wish. It's going under 5 soon and has one or two last gasps above 5 and then it's history.

:)
