Hi Alan, we too are frustrated with holding this ever decreasing value stock. I like the concept as I believe many people do. But the SSS demon remains a bug-a-boo for this company. It has also been hurt by being a "theme" restaurant along with Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock so has some bad company there. Am considering a tax write off of a portion of our RAIN holdings but will consider buying back later on. But, there are so many better performing stocks out there! Just look what happened today with ZD and some other internet linked stocks!! Anyway, will try to remain optimistic about this puppy.

Here's to a Happy Holiday season to all still hanging in with RAIN and hope we see some upward momentum sometime soon. Mel

Alan

I received an email from a friend in Boston who mentioned an article in the boston globe concerning rainforestcafe. The article was favorable and ended with the writer going to call her broker. I couldn't retrieve the article.

Maybe a follow up might come if the broker was negative..<g>

Happy holidays to all. John

Alan,

At times stocks will go sideways to down, as in the case with RAIN, even when the company is doing OK. Look at KO, WMT, and HD from the early 90's till just a year or so ago. They all went sideways to down even as all three were reporting better sales and earnings and then all of a sudden they all took off like a rocket! If RAIN management will take care of their business then the stock will take care of it's self sooner or later.
