"Take The Holiday Memories
To Each Season With Love
Gently Breathe Christmas In
To Each Part

And The Gift Known As Sharing
Will Always Be Yours
For Christmas Will Live...
In Your Heart
"

To all of you good people on this thread:

Before I leave to see my family I'd like to thank you all for making my life better this year with the sharing of your good will, intelligence and humor here in our little DCTC cyber community.

For me, the gift of sharing is what brings out the very best of what we are as people and it has been reflected well here in 1998.

I wish you all the best of health, the happiest music playing in your hearts, and the warmest of loving people to fill your spirits with kindness.

Little six year old Virginia O' Hanlon, of 115 West 95th Street in New York, wrote to the New York Sun, in 1897, and said that some of her friends said Santa does not exist. She wrote, 'Papa says, "If you see it in The Sun, it's so!" Please tell me the truth, is there a Santa Claus?'

This was editor Francis P. Churchs' lovely and timeless response.

==============================================================

Yes Virginia...There Is A Santa Claus.

He exists as certainly as love,
generosity and devotion exist;
and you know that they abound
and give to your life its highest beauty
and joy.

Nobody sees Santa Claus, but that
is no sign that there is no Santa Claus.
The most real things in the world
are those that neither children
nor grown-ups can see.

Nobody can conceive or imagine
all the wonders there are unseen
and unseeable in the world.
