I hope I'm clear in what I'm trying to say here You're clear to me! Danger of falling into classic tech start-up mode; do what's fun and what like to do/can do instead of asking what do the customers want and doing that. A classic problem with start-ups especially, since because they don't expect to make a profit there is less pressure to show how what you are doing is contributing to the bottom line. Will be interested what MS says to you about whether he recognizes the syndrome and what he's doing to make sure FNTN doesn't fall prey to it.

Heyy Stolker, " Where is FNTN positioning themselves with the internet site?... why all of the functionality in the internet site? Is it meant as an advertisement of what they can develop? Is it meant as a stand alone commercial venture?.... Will the internet site be used as a gateway?" Through conversations with management goals are: 1.A revenue producer through banners 2.THE place for financial news on the web, they desire to create a site that anyone who invests will come to often because of all of the options they will offer free of charge. From a sales brochure that FNTN uses or did use at one time: INVESTOR LEADS: Using the FNTN Website, individual investors can also download text, data and video clips about participating mutual funds, creating extraordinary leads while dramatically cutting publishing costs. Another blurb on brochure further says: INVESTOR LEADS: FNTN utilizes inquiries and information about investors culled from the World Wide Web to connect broker/dealers with qualified prospects likely to be interested in their products. As you can see it is being used as a MAJOR sales point to attract clients, therefore the quality and "upcoming" additions are imparative, as well as the ability to reach the maximum amount of people as possible. In terms of a Gateway to the various INTRANETS have never been told that. An additional thought as to why we have not seen an update to the video page as yet: permission to use the Microsoft name and link most likely requires authorization (not sure if there is a need to provide a link to an updated Netscape version, as I don't recall anyone mentioning if an earlier version had problems).
