This selloff is overdone and its time to buy back in . One downgrade and the stock sells off .Next week the smart fund managers will buy back and move us past 50 again.

That's right. Expecations was for 36 cents next quarter.
So why should COMS be penalized for doing better last quarter.

Would we all rather have had earnings of 32 cents so that
'sequential' growth could be seen?

The 36cents next quarter could easily be 2-4 cents higher.
Management is just managing expectations better, I suspect.
They are more conservative. It's better for them to
be so, IMO, after the troubles from the last year.
