Osci, That would take a Supreme Being, I guess.. One of the problems in todays political environment is that people that strive for office have to "sell out" in all aspects of their life to get to levels that have power.. Even local.. They sell out by telling people want they want to hear, to gain the financial resources to campaign and on and on.. And the biggest problem is the electorate.. When I hear that so and so does not have the money to run to get his or her message across, I get disgusted, because that is the people's fault.. Too damn lazy to learn about a candidate without being hammered by 30 sec. sound bites, billboards, etc.. "We have met the enemy and He is us", says Pogo.. It is ironic, that the people who should lead, will never get there because they will not sell out their values to achieve high office.. And that goes for any society in the world, capitalistic, socialistic, commmunistic, you name it.. Should have a true citizen's government, term limits, campaign limits.. no lobbyists, (they can learn both sides of a issue without being pressured by people with an agenda).
