Doesn't this DVD conversion predate their entry into the SVCD market? If so, the trend is from DVD to SVCD!?! :-) Last I heard Shinco was making SVCD players, though I suspect they actually produce plenty of both. What happened to that DVD conversion those articles mentioned anyway? I'm quite curious if it was a success, or if it failed for technical or political reasons, or if it was simply a rumor or an exaggeration. Anyone know? Ron

As far as I know, it still is. You may not agree, but SVCD is bigger than DVD in China, at least now and for the next 2 to 3 years.... Zoran announced their SVCD design.
