Penni,

Thanks for the info. I have asthma also. More recently it has
turned into a chronic condition, especially while sleeping.
I use two prescription inhalers, Serevent and Flovent, that
keep it somewhat under control. But it's still enough of a
problem that my energy level is affected. I'm severely allergic
to dust mites and pollen, and am beginning allergy shots next
week. I'll have to ask the doctor about your medpac. It does
sound like a miracle drug.

Justin

penni,

I have had chronic bronchitis for 25 years. I had a bad lung infection after a clean up of some downtown alleys. Must have been the pigeon crap. I get a cold and then I get bronchitis. Several types of antibiotics will cure it but damn, it's get an appointment, wait, get check out, a day and $100 wasted for getting what I know will fix the problem.

Hi penni, as you know I have rheumatoid arthritis and so have a bottomless supply of prednisone. I had to laugh when I read your old post, wish I had realized that I could have had some fun with this stuff. Sounds like you had a great time. From my perspective, prednisone has given me an extra supply of fat around the throat and midriff, and made me more susceptible to infections. As well as kept my macrophages from eating me alive, for which I say, thank God for prednisone.
