"Anybody who would argue the Internet stocks are not in the midst of a
speculative bubble is blind," Richard Bernstein, chief quantitative analyst
at Merrill Lynch, said in an interview earlier this week. "It's the biggest
speculative bubble of our lifetime."

<<It appears you don't understand the difference between Amazon and those "me too" Internets.>>

I agree with you Jack. AMZN is no Internuts. It is a great company with a great idea an a great site. Still, the STOCK is grossly overvalued. The market valuation is way out of line with the current value of the business.

FWIW, I check two prices on their site, movie "Armageddon" and a CD, "U2 - Best of 1980-1990"... both prices were higher (the movie was 60% higher, the cd was 25%) that what I can get at my nearby shoping mail.
May be the prices are not right. I hope. Otherwise, investors will soon realize that the online business will never replace the shopping malls. You should have felt the Xmas spirit.
