Hey, Hubert!!! If we are both here together, I am not sure it is exactly "real time", but it certainly is quite intense and exciting. I think we are going to go for a drive now in the extremely brisk but bright sunny afternoon. There was ice a half inch thick in the bird bath this morning, and a big fat robin and all the squirrels in our neighborhood were sitting on the fence, waiting for us to throw them some breakfast. I don't think they have ever been so cold, and were almost immobilized. We somehow forgot to buy any fruitcake or Christmas stocking fillers, so the deal is we all get to pick out our own and pile it on! I think I must be the only person in the western hemisphere who actually enjoys fruitcake, sliced really thin with a glass of dry sherry, or port. For some strange reason it is already on sale, and there is also a neighborhood about twenty minutes down the road with beautiful Christmas decorations and lights, which we have never seen before. By the time we find it, it will be getting dark, and we can watch the sun set on the coast while we get there. So, I'm here and gone, but will be back. It is so nice to have enough time off to actually hang out here, something I really miss from my recent days of leisure, before I recommitted to the Puritan work ethic. I hope you are feeling fine and happy, Hubert, and I will wish you happiness while I look at the lights twinkle. Gracie
