Your post about recession, Long Term Capital and EBAY came exactly 4 days before the big bottom. There was alot of fear out there and then the final capitulation--the selling climax. EBAY bottomed as well on the 8th of Oct at $30.

I was able to flip ABOV a few times. Didn't do the run I was hoping for though. My overnite hold flopped when I got stopped out about 1/8 above my entry price. Got back at it by buying at $24 3/16 and selling at $24 7/8. Flipped it yesterday for a buck once and got stopped out the second time for a loss of commissions. I found that the way people are playing it--from one dollar to the next. The thing would go from $22 to $23 and promptly back to $22 taking out everybody's stops--then it would move up to $24. I would have a buy stop waiting for it just past $23. I should have made nearly $4 on it and only made $1 11/16. The other $2 were in the bag but I held out for more.
