You believe upper management listens. You don't know the business so lets end the discussion. Realtors are independent contractors,period.Your cousin would have liked the business whether or not he worked for himself.I think you don't like to "interface" with sales people. Of course it's the commission you hate paying. Asking your cousin for advice is like asking a Doctor or Lawyer for free advice,(expertise). Why should a salesman make any money. I like salesmen. They're often the most facile men in industry i.e. Lee Ioccoa or Jack Welch etc. Thomas,have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year
