John,

AMEN to that post!

The stock market is no longer a place where DD and fundamental analysis will lead to profit.

It is a legalized gambling parlor where the high rollers who have played the high flyers have made millions. Value investors must be patient and willing to take a long term view of things. Those who have gone against the tied of irrational mania (ie shorting internut garbage) have had their heads handed to them).

Fundamentals don't mean a thing in today's market in a span of days to weeks, they must be appreciated over months or quarters or even years.

Every house of cards collapses after gravity has its way. Nothing can deny the laws of physics.

Let's see where most of the internut stock trade 3 years from now and then let's see how on a relative basis the oil patch fares.

We can live relatively well without the internet but take away our oil and natural gas and see just how comfortable life becomes.

Merry Christmas to all those in the patch, as deep as you may be.
