Margin Requirement Increase The increases have been happening for a couple weeks now at different firms. I have not seen any difference in how the market moved, in fact, it seems the market has moved even more since they started with the maintenance increases. hmmmm..... I was not aware of other brokerages increasing their margin requirements for specific stocks (primarily internets). Evidently, a number of people are concerned about valuations. DELLish, 3.
