Wow John, that's some article. Radically new technology=bugs.

PR nightmare, and it sure taints EV's, although this is a solvable problem. I'm sure Honda is very worried it will result in injuries or worse. You guys know I'm not big on EV's. Unsuitable for cold weather, long trips, and anyone who expects much "performance". Plus those dreaded batteries are expensive if they have to be replaced, and I expect the high performance batteries being developed to be even worse. And the whole concept that EV's are "green" is somewhat deceiving. You're merely moving the point of origin of the emissions from the vehicle to the power plant that provided the energy to charge the batteries. I think a lot of consumers don't take that into account.

The truck/SUV thing rolls on:

American's are embarrassing themselves with a total disregard for conserving earth's limited resources. The ONLY thing that they respond to is high fuel prices or actual "shortages". Depending on them to be guided by their conscience is hopeless. Thank God emissions will force them to DFI, as the small incremental improvement in fuel economy wouldn't motivate them. I saw 87 octane Mobil (good quality) for $0.74 today.

I'm curious as to why you changed your mind? I think you'll need to be a little less secretive too. We welcome information, but everyone is pretty nervous right now. We're already somewhat suspicious about what's controlling the stock, and most aren't anxious for more mystery.
