Congradualtiona on your victory over the Prince of Darkness, Lucas Electrics. Unfortunately the victory si almost always short term. It is a great way to test the stiff upper lip and resolve of British Car owners.

Pat-Re: ...are they all so difficult to keep running?.

Only the ones with Lucas electrics, which is about all except late model Jags. Spotting a Miata recently, my wife asked me what it was. I told her it was an English sports car that starts every day!<gg>

I briefly owned a '64 E-type roadster in the late 60's. You're right-beautiful automobile, but very British .

Pat: I used to love working on/restoring British motorcycles. We had a name for Lucas: The Prince Of Darkness.
