Although OSFT is a hot start-up in the kiosk business, you have to consider the pros and cons before you make investment. Here they are:

Pros:

1. No competition, a niche player, pure monopoly
2. revenue in advertisement from the kiosks alone can be tremendous
3. more companies will likely be clients of OSFT
4. take-over from large corporation is likely
5. kiosks could be as popular as PCs around the world in the future
6. Future ATM machines and pay-phones...what do you think ?
7. you don't have to have a PC to access the internet in the public
8. more product-lines from OSFT are likely to suit different business environment
9. developing kiosk boxes involves hardware and software design and integration, which could take many years for other companies to develop their own to compete in the market
10. And of course, Microsoft and IBM are behind the scene in the company

Cons:

1. internet kiosks business is still in its infancy
2. develop and maintainance of kiosk could be expensive for the
company in early going
3. kiosks alone could be expensive for some business rentees
4. HP and SUN microsystems would likely enter this business
with real-time Java solution (but that could be years away after the new Java spec is standardized).
A new battle ground between Microsoft and Sun in the future?
5. the future of internet kiosk business really depends on how
well hand-held PC technologies are developing in their own right, and also depends on how well the public would use the kiosk in general.
6. Still lots of unknown factors which could affect the company
and the kiosk business.

For now, I can only think of the numbers of pros and cons above. Since the pros outweight the cons, OSFT is a good investment IMHO.
So, the only thing I can say is...GO OSFT...all the way to the moon!
