<<BTW, how is the money on the Tim Luke train? Worth the ride?>> I guess it depends on the type of ride you are looking for, smiles. At the basic level, you could be asking me if I'm making money based on the picks of the posters. I look for quite a bit more than that, as it's obviously dangerous to blindly run off and play the recommended stocks, no matter how good and established the stock picker is. Tim Luke does have a good track record for his picks. His best picks are position plays. This is a general thread. I don't go to threads that specialize in a particular company other than get background information. These threads are hype as the players their fool themselves into believing. The also do not enjoy any post that could be perceived as negative even though it's a good post. I also go to a number of other threads for leads that I follow up with my own analysis. They tend to be more focused and have value in their own right. For example, I like the following TA site (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/subject.aspx?subjectid=24052) and visit often. This thread seems more balanced as it offers picks and analysis to support the picks. It appeals to beginners, intermediate players like myself, and the experts like TLC and Tim Luke. Very rarely do the posters hype a stock. It's obvious when it happens, as there isn't any analysis and the poster is always new to the thread. I have never seen an instance of pump and dump. All of the posters simply post their last play accompanied with a reason for the play. Several times when I posted an action, I have been told to reconsider, again with reasons. Saved me a bunch of money and taught me something as well. There are two styles of discussion on the thread. Position trading and Day Trading. It is usually obvious which posting is which. During the off trading hours, the thread goes into training mode and general discussion regarding the next day or week. The experts are surprisingly dedicated to train the newer players. TLC has written some great posts on the thread aimed at moving the intermediate players into the expert circle. The thread also has a sense of warmth. Very rarely does an argument erupt. The questions sometimes are inane, but the posters treat them with respect and answer the question appropriately. I have been very actively trading for about a year. I met Tim about 6 months ago. He has bent over backwards to help me improve my techniques. He and TLC have pointed me to the best books to give me the tools they felt, as I do now in retrospect, I needed to survive. Both are conservative with their advice and genuinely want me to succeed. Can I say more? I welcome you there. Smiles, Glenn PS, I have read many posts on this thread and love them. You are all very funny. I love that.
