"How do you post a link in blue on the message boards to go to another site by the member just clicking on the link??"

hi thumper. and welcome.

here are 2 types of links:

#reply-6972111

the first is achieved by copying and pasting the url at the bottom of the page that you wish to link to.

the second is achieved by typing the last portion of that same url, from the word reply, forward, and adding the pound sign # in front.

both of these methods achieve the same end. :)

Thumper , Welcome to SI.

Notice on the bottom of the page there is an email address for the webmistress(Jill) any requests for changes can be sent directly to her.

Links can be done two ways, simply copy and paste the entire URL
into your text or if internal to SI you can also put the # sign in front of the reply number from the location box. It will automatically turn blue, you don't have to do anything else.

Message 6972111
#reply-6972111 note , no space between the # and reply

good luck

"Lifetime memberships are about to expire" Where did you hear this from? What are the conditions under which this will occur?
