Yup, don't like'm and would have shorted them if they were not so beaten up. Lam is exactly the kind of company that you should avoid; they are a late cycle boomer (so they are not ripe yet) and have been losing market share to others (so on the way up they will not have as good of a time as others). I don't know their recent price though. If they are near their 52 week lows then may be they're good for some bottom fishing. But as a rule, I rather own companies that (a) are doing well to begin with, and (b) will be doing even better for the next 2 years or so. Valuations is less of an issue in a market like ours.
