vepoc,
Remember for every buyer there is a seller, and for every seller there is a buyer. It is difficult to say that the options have an upward bias based on the open interest. Check out Max Pain close to expiration date. With exceptions, it is a generally good indicator. However, lately CPQ has developed a habit of exceeding the max Pain point and making call buyers big winners.

Having said that, I purchased 10 Jan 50 options for 1/2. I think they have some chance of doubling or tripling close to expiration. Plan to continue purchasing a few cheap options until I hit a big rally.
