You're right Max about Wall Street feeling left out, but take it one step further. The hypocricy is multi-layered.

The tables are turned on the type of stocks that you are referring to, at least on the surface. In this realm, Wall Street adds stability but is held hostage to the gyrations caused by daytraders and position traders. Greater volatility can be expected on holiday trading as even the professional traders take time off.

Max, there is no real organized trader movement. It's herd mentallity. The last one in gets caught holding the bag when the music stops. The market makers know the routine better than anyone else and as long as they're happy, Wall Street will have to make due because they have that angle covered.
