Well Glenn, it would seem that might be a tad disappointing. I'm sure the recipients of
the gifts will still appreciate them when they finally arrive to you via UPS or US Postal
or whatever, but it frankly is not going to be the same as giving them at "the time" when
everyone opens their gifts.

I safely carried home the gifts I purchased from the store, to repose in my bedroom until
such time (last minute) as I wrap them. I would be positively disgusted if I had ordered
something in early December and the items had not arrived by the 24th. I would
probably never order anything from that site again.

Dwight,

My sentiments exactly. I wanted to see how fulfillment would work during the busy time of year on various items. Fedex, USPS and UPS were all having difficulty. They all deliver merchandise to my store.

The items that did not show were an "extra" in that I had little confidence everything would arrive. I now will have birthday gifts for some when the time comes around.

There was a lot of attention from Barrons and others about the future of FDX due to e-commerce. My conclusion is that FDX, UPS and USPS have to spend billions more on capital equipment for only a three week perios. One cannot invest in USPS and not easily directly in UPS. The FDX column in Barrons was inaccurate and I believe that will show in the results at quarter's end. Every delivery person I spoke with talked about how much overtime they were being paid. Revenues will be up but so will expenses and expenses will be up a lot.

My test is complete.

Glenn
