-OT- Windows 2000 info:

Note that Windows 2000 has many networking features including support for ATM and Gbit. MSFT uses FORE in its large campus network. FORE Berekely switches uses Windows NT operating system for applications-aware switching support. IMO, the real picture of end-to-end QoS aware applications networking is going to become a true reality with FORE switches working hand-to-hand with Windows NT 2000 systems for both Gbit and ATM support stretching from LAN to WAN.
Wishing all a happy and prosperous new year.
