If James J. Cramer said that "Amazon does not have any inventory", then he's completely ignorant of Amazon's business model. It was several quarters ago that Amazon began stocking inventory, i.e. books that have not been sold yet.

Pssst: Hey JJC: Amazon's Delaware warehouse is 5 football fields in length. Just what the heck do they have in there, empty space? Books in transition between wholesaler and consumer are "inventory" at Amazon.com's warehouses.

im Cramer, Thestreet.com, commented that AMZN may very well be undervalued based
on the fact that it does not have any inventory. Does AMZN own the inventory stored in
its two distribution centers ?

getgo,

Amazon owns the inventory and the dollar amount is growing. The business model failed on this issue.
