Just a side note from one of the NEWZ regulars.

I have no idea why it ran, that is based on fact. The only reasonable explanation is that Regan Basil went on one of his buying sprees.

Did the herd push it higher? I would say yes, because a lot of small orders followed the initial spike. A few larger buys did come in after 8 was broken, but it appears the majority of the volume was the individual investor catching the wave.

Max, these organized herd reactions that you are seeking the formula for are comparable to matches and fires. Matches create a spark that
ignite a fire. Sometimes the spark fails due to falty matches, wind conditions or some other factor. There's the formula.

There is a ton of herd igniters and wannabe herd igniters. They all have their various degrees of success but they can't control all of the deciding factors. Daytraders.com that you mentioned is a trip and a half. I found it to be a cult like society where "DT" must be unquestionably worshipped.
