That's basically betting that a stock will go down. I only done it once, and that was just a few days ago. Generally don't like to bet that someone will lose money on the long side.

But in that particular instance, I didn't feel that they deserved or earned their market share, and apparently a lot of others felt the same way as it sold off from a high of 39ish to 29 right now. I covered my position already, but feel it should fall back to 20-25.

I'm not really one to talk of shorting, I don't know the stradgeys well.

do a title search with the word "short" there are many threads that do it.
