Auric, New York fund manager, eh? And here I thought you were just another evil, short Canadian. More power to you if you can generate some really good thoughts from the contest. I think that some of the ideas put forth here already deserve attention. Though I'll not say which ones... Hehehe... KJC

Hello Auric....et all... I've just read thru some of the posts here...you shorts better have muchO back up funds trying to short these stocks...I mean LARGE BUCKS!!! SHORT..yeah right!!! i thought I was an insane trader on the LONG side<g>...it's nice to know there are other NUTS out there looking to the SHORT side...:>} Yes I think/know these stocks will fall..but it won't be by themselves...it'll take the entire market to selloff 15-20%, in order for these massive Net/Nuts to fall...oh hey, yeah they'll fall alright...but you'll all be sucking wind trying to find out when... they'll have you all running for cover just when you think "ah yes, this is it"...yeah this is it .....sure it is... here's just some bits and pieces of an opposite argument...and then my prediction of the "GREAT INTERNUT Fall of 99".....!!!! AOL---when we sold off in Oct it ran from 140 down to 70ish...probably THE best buying opp for years to come...then it promtly ran back up to 150, split 2-1 and here it is again at 138ish...hmmmm not bad...and this is THE premier NetNut...short this???? HA!!! go right ahead... AMZN...interesting little co....last quarter it posted gross sales of 157 million UP from year over year Q 37 million in 97...not bad..my prediction for AMZN this Q is well over 200 million, and it will gross 1 billion for 99...little it ain't.....bet against the coming 3-1 split on Jan 4th??? yeah right...go ahead...i gotta see this... YHOO---hmmmm the stocks gonna announce record earnings in Jan folks...HELLO anybody home??? oh yeah, it'll also announce a 3-1 stock split...short this baby????...and post it here when you do ok???that should be fun...i wanna be there when you post it..... CMGI---tooo high for you guys/girls???? aw what a shame huh??? well i'll be playing this nice company into their split on Jan 12th...and gee whiz after only earning $1.50-60 or so...not a bad surpise, huh??? ah with all due respect...if you short this monster, go get a Brinks Truck with cash... waiting for those brokerage calls, about your short position being slightly under water.... EBAY---now here's the only stock I don't like...but in the NetNut frenzy they too will split 3-1, keeping this overvalued stock propped up .....making commissions on auction sales dosen't seem to me to be a very good idea...especially when you're not selling any products, and just supplying a service...they might do ok, but i'm betting against this one...but not right away<g>.... OK now for my #1 prediction of the fall....Jan thru Mar is usually very strong in the markets...i remember Apr 97-thru May...that would be my guess as to when these monsters will take the hit we all know they will....in Fact!!!! it'll be on my Birthday..starting the week of the 19th, and ending on April 23rd(B-day)...MY 58TH BIRTHDAY...geez isn't that sweet????? I wish all you shorts out there, what you wish yourselves...but, wishing ain't gonna get it...got it????.......:>} My Regards.....Jerry........
