There are lots of people named Paul McGinnis out there, so good luck in finding the right one.

I'll help you out a bit though... One part of my past that you may have stumbled on though, was when I was a threat to national security a couple years ago, and filed endless FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) actions against the Air Force, the CIA, the Department of Energy, trying to unravel classified military spending. There's an article about it in the November 1995 issue of WIRED magazine, and chapter 22 in Phil Patton's book "Dreamland" is about that period. I used to expose secret military spending on places like www.frogi.org, which no longer exists. (Although the book also discusses UFO crazies, I do not believe in that stuff. But, I did uncover a lot of Special Access Required (SAR) military programs.)

After re-reading your post, I realized that if you only talked to Mensa people about me, they would only know a tiny bit about me, since I don't bother to go to many of their events.

But since you keep insisting on pursuing that part of my life, here's what you would probably have found:

* I'm rather notorious for public lewd conduct with a female Mensan at the Orange County RG (or as they put it, I was "one of the people rolling around on the bed...")

* I got into a spirited discussion with their person who administers the entrance exams, because I pointed how culturally biased some of the questions were on one of the two tests.

They wouldn't even know, for example, that I had worked overseas 12 times in the last 5 years.

Did you find anything new about me yet?

I suppose my references to making sure you find the right Paul McGinnis were a bit too subtle. Not only are there multiple people named Paul McGinnis, there are multiple parts of the life of this individual named Paul McGinnis. I've lived quite a complex life, and different people know different parts - if you put those people together, they might think they were talking about different people!

So, are you still the Fire Marshal in Ammon, Idaho??
