Hi El: Since John doesn't seem to be around .... in Monday's IBD there's a little blurb about CPQ in an article about companies selling their stock directly online. A company called StockPower is helping CPQ develop an online employee stock purchase program. That's it.

Of other interest CPQ's RS has dropped to 93 from 94, BUT the A/D ranking is now "A" up from "B" meaning the stock is under heavy accumulation.

There was an article about improvements in PC technical support which featured DELL and it's new "natural language" search engine named Dudley. Packard Bell and HP also featured. No mention of CPQ.

I only read Barrons if I have to wait in the checkout line at the supermarket on Saturdays - not going there today.

K

Hello Elwood, just reviewed Barron's, not a peep about the boxmakers. Lead story was about the possibility that the sport utility truck boom might finally be winding down as the baby boomers age. That would be too bad - for the automakers that is, since they make just about all their profits on trucks, not cars. Anyway, hope you had a good holiday and a coming Happy New Year!
