In replacing the cables it looks like I mixed up the IDE1 and IDE2 as it is now reporting the ZIP drive as Primary Master and the C drive as Secondary Master with the CD as Secondary Slave. Could this cause any problem? Please advise?

The Primary master is a default position for the primary harddrive. You could have some OS installation problems if the harddrive is not on the primary master. There may be some performance issues as well. As Spot's indicated in a post to Clarence...just do it (gently so as to not bend the pins <g>).
