nimingdn, it now looks like the Senate will quickly end the impeachment and issue a censure. The market will consider this very bullish, but much of the gain may already be in place over the past few trading days.

nimingdn - Why did none of Clinton's defenders take any issue at all with the factual findings of Starr? None of Starr's findings are in dispute by Clinton or his defenders. This is highly damaging to Clinton's defenders.

Clinton has no foreign policy, He is simply reactive to events around the world. This is a departure from all past presidents. There is no doctrine among the Clintonites, just situations, and I am sure this bothers Albright to no end. She is a pro, and she is embarrased by her boss.

And far less than $40 million (don't believe everything you hear) was spent partially to also send about 14 of Clinton's cohorts to prison on about 60 guilty counts of conspiracy, fraud, bank fraud, etc. These were jury trials, with juries quickly returning unanimous guilty vrdicts. Did you not hear about this, nimingdn?

And did you not hear about the White House travel office personnel who were cleared by a jury of wrongdoing in less than 90 minutes, despite Clinton Administration charges that they were guilty of fraud? (These charges were trunmped up so that Clinhton could put in his friends from hollywood, who run a travel agency. This is a known fact.)

And what about Mike McCurry, (until recently the White House Press Secretary) who told the BBC a week ago that Clinton is not fit to serve as president, given his inability to control his own behavior?

Clinton is a jerk in terms of ruining the lives of decent people. Everywhere Clinton and his wife go, they leave a trail of wrecked, ruined lives. Face up to it.

nimingdn, This presidency is utterly forgettable, and thank goodness for that.
